Science December 12, 2024 Images of transformation In her exhibition “Metamorphosis,” Eleonora Adami showcases digital illustrations and cyanotype prints. These works, which invite viewers to reflect on the concepts of change and transformation, will be on display at MDC-BIMSB until the end of January.
Science December 12, 2024 Wonders of the animal world In collaboration with illustrator Kat Menschik, Max Delbrück Center science writer Russell Hodge has published a book about the bizarre traits some animals have evolved to cope with their harsh environments. He also explores what we can learn from them. The work was supported by Stiftung Charité.

Science August 21, 2024 Lab Meets Teacher: New courses 2024–25 The Max Delbrück Center is inviting teachers from all over Germany to visit its laboratories virtually. From September 2024 to July 2025, nine courses on current and curriculum-relevant topics in biomedicine will be offered. The online courses are recognized as professional development in eight of Germany’s federal states.

For the second time, the “Understanding Animal Research” initiative has awarded the center the seal of approval for exemplary communication in experimental animal research.
